Ethan Gee
sends us some happy news: “My very
good friend and fellow Sigma Pi and SLU alumnus
Jeremiah Macko
graduated from Boston Uni-
versity Medical School last May under a scholar-
ship from the U.S. Air Force. Jeremiah is now sta-
tioned and doing his residency at Lackland AFB in
San Antonio,Tex., with the rank of captain.
“I hosted a proper send-off for Capt. Macko at
my house in Arlington, Mass., which was ‘festive,’
to put it one way,” Ethan added. “In attendance

and
Alistair Raymond ’97. We are all proud of our pal,
Jeremiah!” Yes, we are!
Before I heard from Ethan, I didn’t have a single
piece of news to pass on. In desperation, I logged
into
my St. Lawrence
and sent a few requests for
news through that email system.
Dave Cieslowski
answered my plea with the

psyched it is done! My wife, Stacy, daughter Han-
nah, 6, son Oscar, 2, and I moved soon after gradu-
ation to Bend, Ore., where I practice in outpatient
orthopedics for Focus Physical Therapy. We lived
in Bend for about 10 years before leaving for grad-
uate school, and we are really happy to be back
enjoying the mountains on our bikes and skis. After
living in Portland for school, we really appreciate
being back in an outdoor community!”
Congratulations, Dave. It’s always good to have
another doctor in the class!
That’s all the news for now. Hope to hear from
you soon.

Hello, Class of ’97; I hope you are all doing well
and enjoyed a wonderful summer and fall. I caught
up with some fellow members of the class of ’97
when we got together for a Canton high school
inAugust 2011) and
Andrew Bero
died June 12,
2011 (posted in August 2011). Our thoughts and
prayers are with their families.
If you have any news to share regarding jobs, fam-
ilies, recent moves or St. Lawrence alumni gather-
ings, please let me know. I hope to see many of
you at our 20th cluster reunion this spring.
