Andrea “Andy” Regan
is a physician at Char-
lotte Family Health Center in Vermont. She re-
cently bought a house in Hinesburg, Vt., and was
planning to move in in June. Andy and Brett were
also looking forward to welcoming the newest
member of their family in July—a Newfoundland
puppy! It must have been a very busy summer
for them!
Amber Christiansen Rouleau
sent me
an e-mail reporting, “Scott and I own our own
public relations and marketing company, Rouleau
Communications LLC; we specialize in promoting
high-end, niche industries. We live and work out
of Farmington, Conn., but our clients are based
all over the United States and Canada. It’s such
a treat to be able to work side by side with my
husband each and every day – we love what we do!
We have a lot of fun with our company – check
us out on Facebook; we’d love some Laurentian
fans!”
Sarah Dempsey Tarantino
and her hus-
band, Jeff, had a baby girl, Katherine Joan, on Octo-
ber 15, 2010. Sarah reports that she’s a great baby!
They still live in San Francisco, and Sarah works
part-time as an interior designer. Congratulations,
Sarah and Jeff!
Lauren Geller Webel
married Garrick in
October 2009. They are living in Medford, Mass.
Lauren works in Newton as a dental hygienist and
Garrick is the shop foreman for MedfordVolkswa-
gen. They have two dachshunds and two cats, and
are expecting a baby girl (their first child) in No-
vember! Congratulations to Lauren and Garrick!
I also heard from
Greg Chase
, who is an at-
torney at the law firmWatson, Farley &Williams in
NewYork City. He focuses on cross-border bank
lending transactions for the shipping industry. He
loves New York but wishes his job would allow
him more time for travel.
Katy Foley
and
Megan Williams
attended
the SLU alumni network event at Fenway Park this
spring. They ran into several SLU friends, includ-
ing Cory Monroe ’99. Megan recently accepted a
new teaching position at the Foote School in New
Haven, Conn.
Julia Love
reports that she recently connected
with
Monika Ratnik
and
Lucinda Hind-
marsh
in London, where Julia still lives.
Sarah
Dumbrille
went to London from NYC, where
she lives, to celebrate the RoyalWedding together
at a champagne breakfast (in true SLU style!!!). She
really enjoys connecting with other SLU alumni
abroad, so drop her a line if you are in London!
While I was visiting my parents in Florida in
March,
Kati Smith Calvo
and her family drove
up to spend the day with us. Kati and her husband,
Jose, live in Cape Coral, Fla. and have two children:
Bennett, 4, andAnnabelle, 2. Kati and Jose founded
Calvo & Calvo last year after Kati left the public
defenders’ office in Fort Myers.Their practice fo-
cuses on all types of criminal defense and family
law. Kati and Jose met when Kati was a public de-
fender and Jose was a prosecutor! We had such a
great time playing with our kids on the beach.
We also saw
Anne Campbell Dudro
for a
night in May when she came to Washington for
meetings. She and husband Chris were very ex-
cited to move into the new house they built in
North Pittsburgh.
Finally,
Jennifer Strandberg Stockwell
and
Kevin welcomed their second child,Andrew James,
on May 4.Their adorable daughter Mary turned 2
in May. Jenn lives in Westford, Vt., and is a senior
academic and student services advisor at Cham-
plain College.
Facebook and LinkedIn have proven to be fan-
tastic tools for reconnecting with many of our
classmates. If you haven’t already, please join our
“St. Lawrence University Class of ’98” groups on
both networks. Thanks to these groups, our class
made a great showing in the Connection Chal-
lenge fundraiser in May, with 28 donations total-
ling almost $4,000—more money than any other
young alumni class! Thank you to everyone who
donated! Please send me your updates!

Zach Green
and wife Kate have bought a house
in L.A. and celebrated their second anniversary in
July 2011. Zach says he recently signed on as an ex-
ecutive producer with a company in Santa Monica
where he will “continue to produce TV series for
The Discovery Channel, History Channel, Animal
Planet and a few others.”
Carrie Denesha Ridley
writes that she and
husband Brad welcomed son Colton Daniel in
March 2010. Colton is “doing well, starting to walk
and by the time the magazine gets out I’m sure he’ll
be running,” she said.
“My wife and I had our first baby boy. He was
born on April 23, 2011,” writes
James Webler
.
“A skinny little baby like his father and hopefully
like his father he’ll choose St Lawrence instead of
Colgate.”
Currently serving in the Peace Corps,
Chris-
topher Kulik
writes in from a “small village in
Belize called Libertad. I’m helping to train teach-
ers in the Corozal district in Health and Family Life
Education (HFLE), which covers everything from
exercise and nutrition to HIV/AIDS prevention for
all levels of Belizean students. I’ll be down here until
June of 2013 or longer.” Wow. That’s a long time.
Almost long enough for me to learn to properly
pronounce “Belizean.”
“Long-time follower, first time writer,” says
Greg
Myers
, who has been living in Ballston Spa, N.Y.,
since graduation and working as an elementary
school teacher for the last seven years. “No wife
or kids (that I know about), but I’ve been keep-
ing busy fixing up my 105-year-old house, hitting
the Saratoga race track in the summer and hanging
out with fellow Laurentians Parker Stafford ’02 and
Matt Rhodes ’01.”
Jill Tucci Stockdale-Holt
says that she and
her husband recently expanded their “chiropractic
and massage clinic in the Seattle area. Missing SLU,
but being from Ogdensburg, I visit campus when-
ever I am home.”
Alison Cleary Rich
and husband Matt wel-
comed their first baby,Molly, into the world on Oc-
tober 21, 2010.The trio lives in Rochester, N.Y.
Sarah Lafaver McCarron
says she can’t re-
member the last time that she sent in an update.
The mind is the first to go, or so say those with
a full head of hair. “I got married last June to Maj.
Michael McCarron.On May 19, 2011,we welcomed
a healthy baby boy we named Connor Adam Mc-
Carron.We are all doing well.”
Seeking to “advance transportation projects in
an environmentally responsible manner” is
Beth
Bacher-Gresock
, who wrote in the spring, “Af-
ter 10 years in Washington, D.C., Al Gresock ’99,
Homer the Wonder Beagle and I are embarking
on a grand adventure! We’re moving to Madison,
Wis., just in time to celebrate the 4th of July. I’ll
continue to work for the Federal Highway Admin-
istration as an environmental protection specialist;
I’ll just be doing it at the state level now. What will
Al do? Keep his job and work remotely; gotta love
technology today!”
Beth, I’d like more on why Homer is a Wonder
Beagle. I’m picturing Homer either giving the ca-
nine equivalent of the Heimlich maneuver to a
Rhodesian Ridgeback who didn’t properly chew its
dessert bone or––and I’m really hoping this is not
the case here––perhaps Homer regularly wears a
cape and four-legged leotard.
Beth says she sees
Stephanie DeLano
and
Sarah Czajka Mitchell ’01 signed on to the same
job-related webinars.
Marianne Rugari Simon
and husband Noah
’99 said hello to daughter Olivia Grace on May 4,
2011; Olivia’s brother Josh is already loving being
a big brother.
Writing in with such wit that I have no choice
but to omit my usual commentary, here is
Jessica
Martin Lavalette
verbatim:“Class notes, huh? I
wrote once and always wanted to have something
more fabulous to contribute like winning the lot-
tery, a prodigal child or blue ribbon pie; guess we’ll
have to settle for my real life!

I married a fantastic guy in October of 2007
with SLU alumna Jessica Burnham ’01 serving as my
MOH (she wielded a clipboard with military-like
precision to keep things running smoothly!)
●
Chris and I bought a house in Essex,Vt., last year,
only to discover that we were not nearly as handy
as we believed. Hilarity and house fires ensued...
seriously.

I am still a public servant for the Burlington
Water Division but have been promoted to utility
billing coordinator, which can be just as boring as
it sounds!

We are planning a two-week trip to Italy for May
2012 and couldn’t be more excited about visiting all
of the vineyards and shipping back the wine!
