Brianne Monette
and
Frank Frederick
are plan-
ning their wedding at Gunnison Memorial Chapel
on October 13. Frank graduated from UNH Law in
May, and Brianne is almost done with her master’s
degree in applied behavior analysis. They are relo-
cating to NewHampshire later this year.
Another update came from
Woody Parker
: "
I
earned my MS in biomedical sciences from the
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
(
PCOM) this year, studying an enzyme involved in
reperfusion injury. My work was selected for an
institutional award and will be published. I was
commissioned as an ensign in the U.S. Navy Medi-
cal Corps this summer and will matriculate into the
PCOM Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program
this fall."
Hockey star
Carson Duggan
not only received
her master’s in economics from Trinity College in
Hartford, Conn., in May,
but has also been appoint-
ed head coach of Trinity's
women's hockey team!
She was interim head
coach and a graduate as-
sistant coach before that.
She’s “excited to focus only
on coaching and helping
the players develop,” she
says, adding that “it’s a great opportunity to really
see if coaching is what I want to do.”
Beth Osman
recently relocated from Arizona
to Washington, D.C. She is working with the Ray
Group International as a human resources/recruit-
ing administrator.

Hey all! Check out what some of our classmates
have been up to over the summer.
Andrew Le
has been awarded a Fulbright grant
for 2012-2013, allowing him to return to Trinidad
and Tobago to continue research he began while
an undergraduate. Le, who
recently completed work for
a master's degree at the Uni-
versity of British Columbia,
plans to conduct research
on undocumented Vietnam-
ese laborers. He began the
project in 2008. The sociol-
ogy major was a Presidential
Diversity scholar, Ronald E.
McNair Scholar, member of
the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership so-
ciety and a football player, among other activities.
In addition to study in Trinidad/Tobago, he also
studied in China.
Will Kahn
is working in Albany, N.Y., with Emer-
gency Medical Associates in the St. Peter’s Hos-
pital Emergency Room as a clinical information
manager. Will says he loves the Albany area, so
if you are ever around, look him up! He was on
campus for Reunion, helping with transportation
coordination.

Erin Hussey
finished her second year as an
AmeriCorps teacher at St. Martin de Porres Acad-
emy in New Haven, Conn. She coaches the var-
sity girls’ basketball team, runs the community
garden and coordinates graduate community
service projects. She was recently accepted by
Fairfield University as part of the school’s devel-
oping master’s program for extended service
teachers. She is at St. Martin de Porres this year
while beginning her work toward a master’s in
secondary science education. I received a letter
from the school raving about the awesome work
that Erin has done over these past two years!
James Pinkham
was recently accepted into a
graduate course at the University of New Eng-
land. James’s master’s program is in educational
leadership. He is excited because the program
will help him achieve his goals in school admin-
istration. He is still teaching, coaching and liv-
ing in the dorms full-time at the Forman School,
which recently added
Alli Morrow
as its newest
math teacher. Alli replaces
KatieMiller
,
who will
be pursuing a master’s at the University of Con-
necticut. James says he has run into classmates
in Boston including

Next Reunion: 5th, 2017 (cluster with ’12, ’13)
It’s hard to believe that we began our post-
graduate lives over a year ago now. Many of us
have moved into careers, graduate schools and
medical or law schools, and some of us are even
starting families. I’ve been in contact with a few
classmates and had the pleasure of seeing some
of you on Commencement Weekend in May as
we welcomed the Class of 2012 into our alumni
family.
I updated you all on
Nicolien Bongaerts
and her
production assistant job at ESPN in one of my first
columns. In June, Nicolien moved from ESPN to
the National Hockey League and was on hand for
all the Stanley Cup Final games in New Jersey as a
programming coordinator for the NHL Network.
Olivia Birdsall
was one of 54 Fellows selected
by the Woodrow Wilson
National Fellowship for this
year’s Woodrow Wilson In-
diana Teaching Fellowship.
