Renee was recently promoted to associate head
athletic trainer at UNH.
Laura Burgess reports a great first year in
the MALS program in creative writing and cultural
studies at Dartmouth College. Laura is very happy
to be back in her native New Hampshire after
spending a few years in Mercersburg, Pa. She will
continue working at the Cardigan Mountain School
in her role as a member of the English faculty.
I was happy to see fellow FYP member Katie
Stoller, who has been busy not only in her role
as the assistant director of parents programs at
the University of Rochester, but also with planning
her fall 2011 wedding to Jeff Ludwig. Katie reports
that the wedding will be in the Adirondacks, near
where her family has a summer home, and that she
and Jeff will head to St. Lucia for their honeymoon.
Katie and Jeff met at the University of Rochester
when both were doing graduate work in the his-
tory department.

Next Reunion: 10th, 2017
First, I want to thank the many classmates who
came back to Reunion at the beginning of June.The
Class of 2007 had a huge contingent at the event
and it was great to see so many of you make the
trek back to Canton and enjoy the weekend on
campus. I hope you had a great time and are mak-
ing plans to return for the University’s first Home-
coming in many years, November 4-6.
During Reunion, I got to catch up with Danni
Weaver, my co-planning chair for the week-
end. She loves her work as an area coordinator
for staff and student development at Hood Col-
lege in Maryland. She’d been back to campus a few
times throughout the year prior to Reunion as
her younger brother was a member of the Class
of 2011. Danni is also representing our class and
young alumni on the Alumni Executive Council, a
term she began in June.
I enjoyed seeing my Tri-Delta sisters Meg
Burns, Sarah Collins, Tracy Dana, Kate
Farrell, Lauren Jaquin, Andrea Lee, Ka-
tie Nichols, Saeger Philpot, Lia Prysun-
ka and Laura Sexton, as well as several sisters
from the various classes. Many of them came by to
visit the Chapter House. A new kitchen will be in
place by the time you read this, so a stop-in visit is
a must the next time you come to town!
While she isn’t a sister, Meg Spadaccini has
recently become a big part of Tri-Delta as she
took on the role of house director in January. As
the alumnae advisor, I’ve had the chance to work
with her a lot and work with the current members
of the chapter. She’s been a great addition to the
house and enjoys her time with the girls.
I also caught up with Nick Alena and Tim
Morse during Reunion, both of whom very
much enjoy their jobs and living in Chicago. Chris
Farden and Ryan Thorpe came in from Bos-
ton for the weekend, and Chris actually was on
assignment while he was in the North Country!
He met with the IT departments at both St. Law-
rence and SUNY Canton for the work he does
with adaptive communications. Ryan and Chris
have both worked there since graduation.
While there were many of us on campus in early
June, we had several others who could not attend
due to wedding plans. One of them was Sal Ca-
nia, who was preparing for his June 10 wedding
on Cape Cod. Sal married Courtney Tosches, a
Southern New Hampshire graduate, with several
Laurentians present for the occasion.
Speaking of weddings, Christie Herbst was
kind enough to send along the SLU photo from
Laurie Fullerton Hibbard’s wedding, men-
tioned in my previous column. Laurie was married
to Jay Hibbard in July 2010.
In related news, Jesse Wingate got engaged in
late May!We send a big congratulations to him and
his fiancé, Randi Naramore.
Kate Cobbs graduated from West Chester
University in Pennsylvania in early May and now
has her M.Ed. Her next task is finding a full-time
teaching job!
