For the Summer issue of St. Lawrence, William L. Fox ’75, St. Lawrence’s new president, was asked to do a quick SWOT analysis:  Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. We decided to explore the five areas of strength cited by President Fox, to see just how special these attributes really are.

When you live among special people, you may not exactly take them for granted, but it may require the new neighbor, the new friend to open your eyes to the beauty and talent you experience every day. So it is with St. Lawrence’s strengths.  We all know, in our very core, that student-faculty relationships are exquisite; that the campus and our location are spectacular; that alumni loyalty is the stuff of legend; that trustee leadership is nationally respected.  But, why?  And how do these strengths manifest themselves in 2009? 

We go from strength to strength to strength to discover answers.
