The central motif of the design from the village of Cana Recreio, Purus River, Brazil, is a Yaminahua kene, called after the Cashinahua's closely related Pano neighbors, the Yaminahua. Face paintings in this style are used by young women on the occasion of collective hunting parties. The designs are said to make one happy (benimai kene), and they express a festive atmosphere. The design is composed of bepukudu, butterfly motifs. On top we see a dunu mapu, snake's brain motif.
