According to St. Lawrence University Director of Off-Campus Programs
Nancy Pierce, the shock of "re-entry" after foreign study can be
rough on both college students and their parents. Pierce sends letters
to parents who are about to welcome their students home, offering
helpful information and advice on what can be a rocky time.

The 2nd annual Canton-St. Lawrence University
Race Weekend was held on Saturday, April 30. The day included the
Canton-Potsdam Hospital Marathon, the St. Lawrence University Half-Marathon
and the Wellness Initiative 5K. A total of 177 runners participated
and over 100 area citizens and St. Lawrence University students
volunteered on a cool and rainy North Country day. For
