Do you own a piece of St. Lawrence University history? Perhaps you
do and don’t know it. An
old Freshman Directory?
A 1961-62
edition can be yours for $5.37. A mug with the SLU emblem? 1947,
for $14.99.
How about a copy of
The Hill News
or the Noon News Bulletin
(
NNB)? A photo of the Laurentian Singers or some celebrity perform-
ing at the Noble Center Auditorium (now Gulick Theatre), or better
yet, an alumnus on campus who later became “notable”?
As a collector of Thousand Islands memorabilia, I often come across
University collectables in my searches on eBay. You’d think there
would be a lot of shot glasses and felt banners, but those are quite
rare — so if you see an old one, you might want to pick it up.
