Brian Bourquin
came to our rescue for this
edition, answering my desperate plea for news.
Brian has a new professional venture, Dr. B con-
cierge veterinary clinic. He writes that after prac-
ticing for three years in Boston at the south Bay
veterinary group and eight years as an associate
veterinarian at Fresh pond animal Hospital in Bel-
mont, Mass.,“the corporate model was just not in
line with the level of personalized veterinary care
that i sought; thus was born Dr. B concierge vet-
erinary clinic!”
t he clinic’s services include house calls, tailored
care for the aging pet, and nutrition and behav-
ior advice. Brian wants to expand into radiology,
ultrasound, surgery, and dentistry capabilities.”
check it out at
.
according to the site, “Dr. Bourquin spends his
leisure time volunteering, dining out, hiking, lis-
tening to music, collecting trendy gadgets and
enjoying the latest fashion trends. He also enjoys
spending time with his friends [many of whom
are st. Lawrence grads, Brian notes]. He resides
in Boston with paul, his life partner and business
manager; a lovable german short-haired pointer
named grace (a klutz!); and a lovely r agdoll kitty
named graham.” Brian writes that the most re-
cent addition is a fi e-month-old rescued Brussels
griffon named gretel.
t hanks for the news, Brian. i know all of our
classmates joinme in wishing you the best of luck
in this endeavor. i only wish youmade house calls
to virginia!
i hope this column finds everyone well. take a
few minutes out of your busy schedule to drop
me a line so i can let the rest of the class know
what you’ve been up to. it’s painless, i promise!
