FALL 2012 | St. Lawrence University Magazine 13
Women’s soccer star Kristine Lilly, left, was on campus in July, as part of the Lake Placid
Soccer Center’s camp held at St. Lawrence University. Lilly, a four-time NCAA champion,
two-time Olympic gold medalist and a 23-year veteran of the U.S. National Team who has
played in more international games than anyone in soccer history, is featured in an instruc-
tional video that was shot while she was at St. Lawrence. Among the operators of the Lake
Placid Soccer Center are Mike “Twig” McGlynn ’75 and Larry McFaddin M’83.
